The Vocal Quintet, Los Ladrones, was formed by Geoff Porter in 2013 to revive concert versions of Victorian and Edwardian British Musical Theatre and especially the lesser known works of Arthur Sullivan.
Performance dates for 2025 will be published when available and will include The Waterman & The Beggar’s Opera extracts at Stansted House on 13 March 2025.
Members are Jane Marett (soprano), Irene Cooksey (mezzo), Simon Cooksey (tenor), John Butt (baritone) & Michael Powell (Bass Baritone). Accompanist is Nigel Smith and Narrator, Marion Porter.
Performance venues have been at Stansted House, Holy Trinity Church Gosport, St.Michael and all Angels Church Chalton, Oving Village Hall, Titchfield Parish Room, East Marden Church, Blendworth Church Centre, the Elms Bedhampton and The Bognor Regis Music Club.
