2012
Picture of Kevin Sivyer being presented with 50 yr medal and certificate on Saturday 20 October 2012 by Mr Derek Grattidge, National President of NODA (National Operatic and Dramatic Association) at Queen Elizabeth High School, Carmarthen. The Compere was John Walford OBE. The medal was Kevin's father's and while not unique that two members of the same family receive the 50yr award, there cannot be too many!
Kevin was pleased that friends from Hampshire came over to join some very talented G&S performers from Swansea, Llanelli, Newtown and Chester who made the event very special. It was also good to see NODA well represented at the event. The only disappointment was the size of the audience but perhaps a G&S Sing-In is a strange animal for Wales.
All the proceeds from the evening were presented to Ty Cymorth Hospice, Carmarthen Autistic Society and Glangwili Hospital Oncology fund by Llandeilo Rotary Club at a dinner
